Two Ecuadorean indigenous organizations, however, issued a statement blaming the government for the clash, saying it was “the Ecuador’s economic future: better without Correa?product of the invasion of indigenous lands by a Chinese transnational” and accusing the government of failing “to listen, dialogue and resolve the conflicts.”
The state of emergency has not been lifted in the region.
