Because an aunt sent my sister a recording of The Mikado, and I liked it, at my request I received a bunch of G&S albums for my 10th birthday- but not Trial by Jury. Not surprisingly, I later became a Groucho fan. The two often go together.
I am reminded of Pinafore- “good judge”- “right good captain too” and the end reminded me of “oh joy oh rapture unforseen.”
