Nothing spells r-o-m-a-n-c-e like scars and fractures:
But they were left fearing for their lives when the lobby roof at Sol Rio De Luna y Mares Hotel, in Cuba, suddenly buckled and collapsed – trapping them underneath and injuring many members of the wedding party, including the bride.
So… is it wrong to feel good about this couple’s bad luck?
They chose to spend $31,287 for a wedding in one of the most repressive and impoverished countries on earth.
And the person officiating stuck her sunglasses on top of her t-shirt.
“So bring the roof down on this”
They probably also ignored the obvious communist pack of lies all around them. Bet old Raoul was delighted to get the $$$ from these idiots. The roof probably collapsed (Cuba in the 50s had beautiful buildings) because the economy has been so severely destroyed that the whole infrastructure of the country is in ruins. Of course, it is the embargo and the little green men from the CIA who are responsible, not the brave and fearless Castro brothers. Poor Venezuela, no embargo to blame! The Chavistas will have to get creative. Wait until these 2 idiots get the hospital bill!!!! They won’t be allowed to leave until it is paid. Justice!
I read somewhere that some 200 buildings collapse every year in Cuba
Cuba before Castro had beautiful buildings and infrastructure, a booming economy, a higher per capita income than France, positive immigration flow and foreign investment. There was a thriving cattle and sugar industry in addition to tourism and a laissez-faire attitude like Las Vegas (with some gangsters thrown in). True all was not perfect, like Batista and his cronies, but the Cuba of today is indeed sad. Cuba benefitted enormously from its relationship with the USA (and we got Desi Arnaz and Hemingway got to go fish). Today Cuba exports toxic revolution and balseros, and has no income but tourism and handouts for phony medical schemes while the money goes into Swiss bank accounts. I like the story of the Canadian man who spent 13 days in a Cuban jail for flying a drone in public. He found out first hand how sweet life is in the Cuban hoosegow in socialist paradise.
