Donald Trump, Agent Orange

Months ago when @realDonaldTrump declared his candidacy, my gut told me this was pure Clinton strategy: Another loud-mouthed billionaire splitting the vote and leading to a Clinton win as it did in 1992.

Nothing Trump has done – before his candidacy, and since he announced it – has convinced me otherwise.

I’m not alone: John Hinderaker is asking IS TRUMP A DEMOCRATIC PARTY AGENT?;

PAUL [Mirengoff] ADDS: If Trump is an agent of the Democrats (reportedly he talked about running for president with Bill Clinton shortly before entering the race), we should call him Agent Orange, in honor of his “spray tan.”

Of course, if Trump were an agent for the Dems, it would mean he is willing to fight for something other than himself. The fatal flaw in the agent theory is that I do not believe Trump – the thin-skinned tough guy – would ever be capable of fighting for anything beyond his own self-interest.

So it falls to those who have integrity in the Republican Party (candidates, media personalities, public figures) to expose him , and they better do it now,

Either people are going to expose Trump now for the reprobate that he is, or the Democrats will do it in the fall when he is the candidate. If you don’t want a Democrat in the White House come January 2017, now is the time to wise up to what a clueless low-life Donald Trump really is.

If you endorsed him, you are still on time to renege your endorsement, which you must. Trump has shown himself as a fraudster whose Trump University was a massive scam

As a businessman, he is thoroughly disreputable: a liar and a cheat.

Politically, he has a long history of support of Democrats, eminent domain abuse, and  faulty memory on whether he donated to Planned Parenthood.

If that was not enough, after this weekend, how can anyone in the Republican Party, the party of abolition and the Civil Rights Act possibly even abide anyone who does not immediately disavow any support from the KKK?

Now Trump says (again) if he doesn’t get the nomination, he’ll go third party

“Well, if they violate the pledge, which they’ve possibly already done, as you understand — if they violate the pledge, I will do something that will make them very unhappy,” he warned. “I have millions of millions of followers.”

Whether Trump is motivated solely by his ego, or is the Dem’s own Agent Orange, explain to me, please, how would the results be any different.

Forum: Dogs, Cats Or ? What’s Your Favorite Pet?

Every week on Monday morning , the Council and our invited guests weigh in at the Watcher’s Forum, short takes on a major issue of the day, the culture, or daily living. This week’s question: Dogs, Cats Or ? What’s Your Favorite Pet?

Fausta’s Blog: I’m very allergic to cats, so I can’t have any contact with them.

Dogs are nice, but at this point in my life I don’t want the responsibility, so I visit my sister and hang out with her dog, who enthusiastically greets me at the door.

The Daley Gator : Dogs, no contest! They are called man’s best friend for very good reasons. Mainly the closeness you can get with a dog that just is not there with a cat, at least to me. I recall being 18, and heart-broken over a girl. As I sat on my bed, head hanging down, here came my dog. He just laid his head on my knee, and looked at me, as if to say it is OK.

The Razor : The older I get the more I like animals and the less I like people. As for cats vs dogs, both have their charms. I have 7 of each, the eldest being a 20 year old cat I raised from a kitten in Japan, down to a 6 month old Rottweiler mix puppy who bangs the kitchen cabinets like a drum when he wags his tail. All are rescues – the 20 year old cat from a plastic bag in a dumpster in Kyoto, the Rottie puppy running under parked cars as a 5 week old puppy at the local WalMart.

Argentina: #Nisman case now a murder investigation

Argentinean prosecutor says for first time that Nisman was murdered. Investigator was looking into terrorist-bombing cover-up when he was found dead last year

Ricardo Sáenz, the chief prosecutor at the Argentina federal judicial chamber, said in a writ that Nisman did not commit suicide – the first time that an official authority has clearly identified the death as a possible murder case.

The inquiry had been stalled for more than a year as investigators could not determine a cause of death.

Why Is It So Significant That Sáenz Declared That Nisman Was Murdered?

According to Infobae’s Martín Angulo, the case has more chances of following the “murder” theory Sáenz espouses if it is sent to the Federal Jurisdiction, as several of his colleagues who also organized and promoted February 18th 2015 march in Nisman’s honor work there, thus having a higher influence on its outcome.

It’s worth clarifying this case has nothing to do with Nisman’s accusation against Cristina and co., which was dismissed by Federal Judge Daniel Rafecas last year. Here, Sáenz is trying to establish the reasons that led to Nisman’s death, a completely different case that, of course, goes hand in hand with the first one that kicked off one of the largest clusterfucks in Argentine history.

As Drudge says, developing.

At the Watchers’Council,

The Council has spoken, the votes have been cast, and the results are in for this week’s Watcher’s Council match up.

““Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.” “ – Benjamin Franklin

“Progressivism, liberalism, or whatever you want to call it has become an ideology of power. So long as liberals hold it, principles don’t matter. ” – Jonah Goldberg in ‘Liberal Fascism’

Brazil: Third junk rating in a row

First Standard and Poor’s, then Fitch’s, now Moody’s; worse yet,

“If Brazil were to carry out economic reforms starting today, and if we had a better political scenario, I’d say it would take 10 to 15 years to return to investment grade,” said Banco Fibra’s Mr. Oliveira. “It will be a long journey.”

And, Exports from China to Brazil collapse as recession deepens – a mind-boggling 60% drop from a year earlier, due to the weak real.
