In a rather jubilant mode, Herman Cain announced he’s suspending his campaign:
“I am suspending my presidential campaign, because of the continued distractions, the continued hurt caused on me and my family,” Mr. Cain said with his wife, Gloria, standing behind him.
He added he intended to remain an advocate in the campaign and would make an endorsement in the 2012 race.
Mr. Cain said the allegations against him had “sidetracked” his campaign and hurt his ability “to present solutions” to the American people.
The good news? J.D. Gordon is now unemployed.
The moral of the Herman Cain story.
