After much discussion in the likes of
State officials recently published a list of 178 authorized private jobs, including shoe-shiners and blacksmiths, and said the government would consider giving loans to help entrepreneurs get started.
Plus more discussion of what may or may not happen, the article forgets to mention one fact:
There is no private sector in Cuba.
Bear that in mind every time you read about any upcoming “changes” in Cuba while the Communist remains in power.
