Pardon my cynicism, but “decorum” and “Washington” are not two words that belong on the same sentence, particularly when it comes to government spending.

Decorum’s been long, long gone, babeee! It’s a heck of a lot easier to aim for the lowest common denominator than it is to come up with a reasoned argument.
