I hate to tell you this, but cable TV would not be a proximate cause of that question.
And, granted, I’m not a parent, I believe that parents are waaaay too hesitant to talk about sex with kids.
Kids have historically grown up around animals. They have learned about sex early on, as a result of observing animals doing it.
It’s flat out wrongheaded to try and get them to not be aware of sex at all to a substantially later date.
Trust them. They’ve got the mental equipment to deal with it early — and if you get your own view in early, it acts to inoculate them against all the screwed-up crap they ARE going to encounter in our modern sexed-up society.

Back in the Bill-Monica years I had a six year old in the house and I have no intention (now or then) to explain to a child that age what a bj is.
