Well, I haven’t listened to the above because that’s not an option here at work, but speaking as someone who adores Brazil and has been there many many times what will continue to hold them back is the political and police corruption. It pervades everything.

Yep. I adore the Brazilians, I really do. They are the sweetest people outside of the US.
But any place where the population is fearful of calling the police after they’ve been robbed because they believe the police will then rob them again has got a lot of work to do on social trust before they can reach more of their potential. And Brazil’s potential is huge.
