I wouldn’t normally pick on the children of public officials, I usually wait until I’m in the classroom, but jeez, neither girl is standing straight plus it looks like both are auditioning for the role of Igor in a Young Frankenstein remake.

    Greetings:

To paraphrase some Bronx folk-wisdom, “Your daughter wears combat boots.”

jajaja… well you can choose your friends, but your family? you’re stuck with them! Have the daughters caught their posture from their mom’s bow legs?

Believe me – a suffering citizen of Spain – what this ugly troupe of monsters has created here is as equally ugly as the “family !!” Spain is absolutely bankrupt, not just financially but morally and ethically. I have never known such deep division and hatred for “the other Spain.” This will not end well…..!

  5. Pat Patterson says

    September 27, 2009 at 4:19 am

Is this division emulating that of the period after the restoration of democracy? Or different?

Goodness does not make an appearance in that photo. Note how the 2 mothers look more manly than the beta-man fathers. Wonderful expressions of absolute stupidity on the 2 lefty brats….the whole family dresses like crap and wth! are those pendants the rug munchers have on their sternum?

    Literally “slouching toward Gomorrah”

Perfect example of what consequence-free child-rearing, socialist/liberal orthodoxy will get you. Rubbish.

    Funny!

I don’t like targeting kids, but what a grotesque abdication of parental responsibility – it won’t kill these kids to wear something more appropriate for one evening, and it’s the parents job to see to it, but Zapatero never has been known for backbone of any kid…

  15. luagha says

Actually I think slouching and wearing ugly clothes is a wonderful protest for anyone forced to be in a picture with Obama.

    You have a point, Luagha.

    According to Wikipedia:

When asked why he suggested the name Gomez for the character, Addams replied that he “thought he [the character] had a bit of Spanish blood in him.”

Life imitates art. Or the other way around.

    Good grief!

Not a couple of Wednesdays. Look at their shapeless attire, the hulking, round-shouldered slouch, the truculent deadpan. Not Wednesdays, nay, but a pair of cross-dressed Uncle Festers, shall we say Festerinas?

  23. Kat says

    September 27, 2009 at 1:59 pm

Y’know, these are the people trying to tell us how to raise our kids. HAHAHhahah*gasp*HahahaHAhahaHAhahahahah!!!!
If my girls tried to leave the house looking like this for an important event, there would be *hell* to pay. I wouldn’t care how late it made us, we’d march to their closet and pick out something appropriate and they *would* put it on. My eldest did go through a goth stage, so I had times when I had to deal with these sorts of situations. Bottom line, I’m the Mom. I don’t have a boatload of rules, but the ones I do have are set in stone, and they will be respected.
These kids don’t look so much bad as they do… aimless, unfocused. I’m sure their parents tell them every day how wonderful they are, without telling them *why*, or giving them goals, or encouragement and support to achieve their dreams. You know, actual parenting? Touchy-feely is easy, the rest is hard work.

  24. BM says

    September 27, 2009 at 4:09 pm

Geesh, the girls both have the same posture problems as Uncle Fester.

This is the guy who campaigned on pulling Spanish troops out of Afghanistan and only won the election because Al Qeda bombed the train station. I’m not surprised his family looks like that.
