Compassion for the Lockerbie bomber

Years ago I was told about a man who misled a woman to believe he was terminally ill in order to seduce her. The Scots, however, offer themselves up knowingly:

Scotland frees terminally ill Lockerbie bomber

Scotland’s government freed the terminally ill Lockerbie bomber on compassionate grounds Thursday, allowing him to die at home in Libya despite American protests that mercy should not be shown to the man responsible for the deaths of 270 people.

Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill said Abdel Baset al-Megrahi’s condition had deteriorated from prostate cancer. Al-Megrahi had only served some eight years of a life sentence, but MacAskill said he was bound by Scottish values to release him.

Rather than let the bastard rot in jail,

“Our belief dictates that justice be served but mercy be shown,” MacAskill said, ruling that al-Megrahi “be released on compassionate grounds and be allowed to return to Libya to die.”

More compassion than Al-Megrahi ever showed anyone.

Story also at the WaPo and the WSJ which has a slideshow.

but hey this is getting a bit too long-winded. So I’ll let it be till I get more specifics; perhaps even the precise doco for you (S.B.S. ain’t what I anticipated, the CPA hasn’t got back to me, I’m just a lonely hollow man…nah it’s spring here I got a lot of lambs to kill).

just to let you know, I choose “boxer” as a caution…read George Orwells’ “Animal Farm” a short novel…an easy read!! and you might get it.

Until I have all the facts “Viva Revolution”. I got other shit to do….not avoiding you!!

with all my revolutionary heart BOXER.

Of cause it was a month I went missing for last time cause I was sheering for spring (this makes the lambs fatter as they try and protect themselves from the cold by getting fat, hence we charge you for fat?? a capitalist trick exposed!!) Anyhoo back when they are on ya plate…I’ll get mobile soon.

    O.K. you’ve hooked me!

I do have to go in next few days (and I gotta check on the old lady down the road n shit before I leave). But can I give you an assignment before I go? This 10% drop in unionism in Germany that you mention (I thought and hoped it was greater than that). Why do you thing this is disadvantageous to socialism? I think you are a bit confused as to what is a Social Democrat? and, What is a Socialist?

I’m wondering if you could tell me, Who, What, Where and When, caused V.I. Lenin to (in outrage) exclaim “What kind of capitalist economy is this, that allows the worker a guaranteed pay packet and a guaranteed working week” (n.b. this is not verbatim). This was in 1901 and caused him to consider “Why have a revolution”?

His response in 1904 is interesting and complex. IT however caused him to continue on a revolutionary path….WHY?

If it is not a quote then why is it in quotes? As to the unions the guts of the Communists in Germany after World War II was in the large unions. If they suffer a drop in membership it isn’t because of a demand for a more radical program but rather the worker making a rational choice and deciding that his goals and the unions goals are two different things.

Could you at least get the quotes right? Where there an article or pamphlet that mentions his question of “…why have a revolution.” Which response in 1904? Are you referring to One Step Forward, Two Steps Back?

BTW, how did you manage to make a lamb invisible?

i used quotation marks because it’s f’n close babe….f’n close and I’m a bit loose n wild!! (verbatim shmatim)? and it’s not in “quotes” but rather , “quotation marks” if you wanna get annal. Yes the unions’ were the “guts” of the commies after WW II, however I’m talking of Rosa Luxumberg and (1919) post and pre WW I. Like I predicted again you do not know of this (please scroll for my prediction).

And it’s your job to answer the question re 1904. At no point have I suggested 1904 had anything to do with Germany/unionism.

Invisible lambs is your conspiracy, but less work for me?

unions suck shit…I’ll give you an example that happened to me today…. So I was stringing up a lamb for a member of the teachers union and F*^% did she go on about some old guy that she gotta represent and his current language issues that has caused the said conflict…he mumbles a bit!! This current situation of attack by the bosses on this individual is causing other individuals to come to her for advice on how they can protect themselves from similar attack for their age/lack of skill or just cause the have union styled wages….whatever the case, it is stress full to her. Yet very few of these individuals are in unions!! It would seem to me both you and I get what we want here. However it would seem I’m closer to the reality and can do something about it!!!!

However I told her..and you’d like this…I said “A social democrat would have a union drive” or “A socialist would listen to me”

and what do you mean by invisible lambs?? I don’t understand!! I do enjoy abstract thinking but this is odd!?!?

Because shearing is spelled with an “a” not sheering. Plus anal is not spelled annal. What happened to your comrade at the Cuban embassy? He to has heard the story but also cannot provide one citation to that old wive’s tale is my guess! Using quotes and quotation marks are acceptable according the The Style Manual and being close does not mean you can use those marks because that simply means not close but actual.

I’m not sure you really understand how to question some one else if it consists of “close” citations and obscurity. Simply put its been over a month and inspite of the verbiage you still have not put forward one single fact concerning US behaviour in regards to South America. How about less incoherent reponses here and more dilgence in tracking down your original claim?

My bad spelling is just red wine (or rather red whine, they go hand in hand with me)! I could take the time to point out where your spelling has been wrong too, but I am not so petty, as I have always understood what you have meant!! As I’m sure you have I. It might interest you to know that English is a living language and can do what the fuck it wants, as you and I will too.
I have put forward many “startling” claims regarding South America, just none that you like, and not the one I first mentioned (I’d never heard of Project X, but it is real….fuck me)!!
From The Cuban Consulate (I don’t think we have an embassy here), to the CPA and all people I have contacted, I have had no worthwhile responses. Perhaps I don’t try enough or they simply have bigger fish to fry. I’m stoked that you don’t!!
I told you heaps back that I’d rather wait till I had more facts before we continued our chat. However you continue to goad me.

Today this suits me as AID has been cut to Honduras and babe you will soon see socialism work. From here a lot of truths will arise, and I hope even the one about the planes over South America???

    If not just be patient.
