El Universal reports that 12 (!) tons of gold concentrate worth US$100,000 from the Real de Cosala mine has been missing since June 16. The truck, driven by three civilians and a retired Mexican army general, was found on June 18 being driven by two other men. Authorities are holding the two men. The other four men are still missing.
You can speculate who has the gold: the Sinaloa guys, another cartel, terrorists, the four men, the two who were found in the truck, or some other freelancers?
Gold concentrate is dirt. It only has value if there is gold worth separating and smelting.
Is Pajamas Media down?
Yup. Whoever got it has access to that.
Looks like it. All of their blogs appear to be down, too.
