Lula’s racist gaffe in front of a visiting Gordon Brown:
‘White People Caused The Credit Crunch’
Brazil’s President, while meeting Gordon Brown, has said the global financial crisis was caused by “white people with blue eyes”.
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva made the comments after talks with the Prime Minister to try to forge a global consensus on how to save the worldwide economy.
Sky News’ Joey Jones said it was an “uncomfortable” moment for Mr Brown.
Last week there was the EU Parliamentarian who ripped Brown up one side and down the other.
Last month there were the wrong-region DVDs, and the trouser-in-the-socks moment.
Now Lula comes up with this doozy.
And the G20 doesn’t even start until next week.
At this rate, Gordon Brown’s probably yearning for no further contact with any foreign dignitaries, ever.
UPDATE
Welcome, Michelle Malkin readers! Please read my follow-post at Real Clear World
Has Lulu seen a photo of Barney Frank lately?
I didn’t cause no stinkin’ crisis!
The G20 meeting is lining up to look like outtakes from “Who’s Line Is It, Anyway?”
Perhaps he was having a ‘Boys From Brazil’ moment?
As opposed to white guys with brown eyes?
there’s the entire report on bbc. despite it; read the entire south america history, then its clear to understand brazilian president words.
I live in Africa and this Lula looks white to me.
