Daniel Hannan MEP calls Gordon Brown “The devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Government”

I think I’m in love:

Who is that guy? Daniel Hannan.

Oh, and by the way,

EU Referndum has been a fan of Hannan for a while but not for criticizing PM Brown but for his constant attacks on the “wets” typfied by the Boy King, David Cameron, of the Conservative Party but mainly the whole EU. Which in the link he likens to a irresponsible and secretive racket run by those who know better than the unwashed masses. You know, the Philbys, the Blunts and the Hisses!

Hearing this man speak got me so excited. Can we (US) borrow him for a while? We need him to respond to Obama and to give the Republicans some spline. It was refreshing and totally awesome to hear this type of speech that espouses conservative beliefs. Hang on to him.

Don’t you wish America was a free country and we could actually stand in front of Obama and say this without fear of being locked away for the rest of our lives?

He was interviewed today on Cavuto btw. Nice interview.

This young man’s speech was phenomenal! He is bright, articulate and brave! He has the ability to concisely state the reality of what it means for citizens when government spends countries into debt. I wonder if he is interested in running in the next Presidential Campaign as a Republican, perhaps he could illegally immigrate. This would create a truly bi partisan election. The Republicans would vote for him because of his stand on economic responsibility and the Democrats because of their love for illegal aliens.

    Go for it Daniel!

Let’s just be rational here. Hannan is not one to attack Cameron because he was one of those who ensured his election as leader of the Conservative Party. He is also a consistent fan of Obama’s, writing quite recently about it on his Telegraph blog.

Also this speech was made in the European Parliament not the real one. Though our legislation comes from the EU it is not the European Parliament that does the legislating. They have but a small role in that but they are a forum for people to make speeches – like Secretary of State Clinton did, for instance.

Let us not forget that he was quoting John Smith. Who? Ah yes, the forgotten man. The last Labour leader but two who used those very words to attack John Major in the real Parliament.

Just putting things into perspective. Hannan is not the Messiah but a politician. I like him but that does not mean I swoon when he speaks or feel anything but mild nausea at the sight of other people swooning.

Our gain is your loss . . .

Im English not a Brit I leave that to 150 nationalities that claim that dubious distinction in this multicultural paradise.
Dan Hannan is a conviction politician a rare beast in todays world who attacks the corruption of the EU at all times and is against the UK be subsumed as just a region of Europe.
Imagine the USA signing a treaty with Canada Mexico El Salvador Honduras Nicaragua Venezuela,Columbia et.al.to join in a Federal Union with a shared currency and paying you representatives $500,000 per year plus a gold plated pension after just 5 years for the privilege of representing the people in a meaningless Parliament with no power instead all laws are made by an unelected bureaucracy of politicians who failed to make the grade in their own country.
Yep thats we English hate the EU and will one day leave it
So watch Daniel slaughter Brown our unelected Prime Minister on the video for he talks for us all in the UK

Yeah? Well, he belongs to a party that believes just that while trying to kid the population that they can change or reform said EU. Go figure.

What are you saying please write an English I can understand, go figure what on earth does that mean?
Your language is as confusing as your comment.
I am not a Tory supporter if fact I am an independent but I have immense respect for Daniel Hannan as an individual not as a Tory member if fact he is my MEP and I have met him at meetings where his articulate razor sharp analysis really dissects the subject he is talking about.
Instead of such a sour repost maybe a comment on a look alike EU in the America’s I wanted you to consider might sharpen your postings.
Just to highlight the waste of money in the EU. do you know there are 2 Parliaments one in Brussels one in Strasbourg France
The French would not join the EU if they did not have a parliament on French soil so every year the Parliament upends on a regular basis and goes to the other costing billions in such a wasteful usless measure just to sooth the French ego and by the way its the UK and Germany who fund the EU all others take from the system
    In your parlance, go figure.
