A couple of things:
TigerHawk, who now is up in the Adirondacks, has this to say about the deplorable services Princeton Township renders:
The observation that the government of New Jersey, or at least the overlapping entities responsible for Princeton Township, could not possibly do a worse job at clearing snow. How can it be that the residential street in front of my house has not been plowed 18 hours after the snow started to fall? Yes, it is nothing but a heap of ice boulders now, but back when it was merely slush — most of last evening, for example — it would have been an easy matter to plow it and it would be dry this morning. People complain about Illinois, but at least they can clear the damned snow there. Given the quality of our senators, I really would not mind Jon Corzine auctioning the next vacancy in return for competence at the clearing of snow.
They finally did get around to plowing but Lord knows how they’ll handle the ice we got this morning.
