It was then that I knew what a nightmare life in Iraq had been under Saddam. They may have botched it procedurally, but his hanging was a great and needed moment for Iraq and Iraqis.
The Bergen Record even had a 100-word piece on Saddam’s capture. That’s about as much coverage the Record gave him when he was on the lamb. (I’m joshing, of course)

I sincerely hope that the lamb Michael Fidanza referred to was a female otherwise the image is a little too vivid.
