Yell it from the rooftops,
China on Friday enacted its first law to protect private property explicitly
As Captain Ed said,
Even if the Chinese government bullied this law into being, its passage has the potential to free millions of people from the yoke of failed statist policy and oppression. It will undoubtedly assist in creating more room for free speech and liberty.
That China’s starting to even consider granting property rights is a huge thing, and very encouraging news. That they actually passed a law in that direction is fantastic.
The rule of law. property rights and freedom of assembly are three powerful things basic to wealth creation and individual freedom. That there’s a glimmer at one of them from China is really very big news.
