What does "Britney’s nookie" have to do with preserving Civiliation?

Scroll for update

Larwyn emailed this, which I’m honored to post

What does “Britney’s nookie” have to do with preserving Civiliation? EVERYTHING!

While a group The Coalition to Preserve Civilization forms to fight Islamist propaganda , our blogs furiously investigate and prove that the AP has broadcast bogus stories from Iraq. So far, the LSM has chosen to ignore this story, only granting throw away, snide reports, they refuse to judge their fellow “journalist”. No story here, really folks, don’t ask us about those wacky right wing bloggers.

Now, here’s an important week long story and we will judge Michael Richards, we will name his crime “hate speech”, we will bombard you with it. It fits our agenda.

Selwyn Duke writing at American Thinker caught their act and their game with How We Will Lose Our Freedom of Speech.

Cut to Dan Riehl out with friends:

As I was saying over dinner with someone the other night, while I’m not crazy about the extreme far Right or the far Left, I fear the Left much more than I do the Right. Did you ever stop to think how most all of the dictators in this hemisphere are Leftists? And out Left has no problem with that? And for all their alleged pacifism, the Left will militarize in a heart beat for what it believes to be the correct cause. And many of the causes of the Left have little to do with what makes America great, or our Constitution.

It was after that meal that he read A BEAUTIFULLY DARK PLACE by Dr. Sanity, who was inspired by the Duke post, she wrote:

This sort of cognitive dissonance and intellectual insanity is not because they are particularly ignorant of the U.S. Constitution. Rather, it is because as Duke suggests, they have a very specific political agenda that has been slowly but surely changing American society into their utopia. This “social engineering” on their part doesn’t give a damn about free speech except insofar as it can be used to forward their socialist agenda. It doesn’t give a damn about freedom of religion, except insofar as it can be used to forward their socialist agenda.

Dan titled his short post: Why Fear The Left?
We could assemble a comprehensive list to answer Dan’s question.

Each [item on that list] would expose the lack of traditional morals and values in the specific political agenda or “social engineering” program.

Which is why they must destroy any reminders of those morals and values hanging about. Some child could ask about adultery or worse,”what is coveting?”. Not good for “coveting’ to be a negative term, when you really want to redistribute the wealth. Hence, ACLU Seeking Offended People For Plaintiffs In New Ten Commandments Controversy.

The Young Conservatives of Texas – U of Texas Chapter ridicule what the ACLU would like Conservative Students to Display “ACLU Nativity Scene”: a Gary and Joseph, with no child in the manger, Lenin,Marx and Stalin for the three Wise Men, a terrorist shepherd and angel, Nancy Pelosi.

Shame that they went with Gary and Joseph and not Mary and Josephine.
Brittany could have sat in to represent the new image of motherhood,
the feminine mystique exposed, undermined,

tells you that young women increasingly view sex as a performance. This self-concept is in turn a function of pornography, which trains guys to view women as performers,

as AliBubba said.

Really, be honest, didn’t a thought flash thru you mind, similar to “someone throw a burka over that air-head”?

Now read AliBubba’s words from Britney’s nookie, deconstructed. You’ll
want to read it in full, save it and think of it when your 8 or 10 year old
daughter begins to travel down this road.

That this rationale has made the leap to real life — checkout-stand magazines like Glamour and Elle now offer advice on shrubbery-trimming as casually as if they were offering advice on makeup or shoes — tells you that young women increasingly view sex as a performance. This self-concept is in turn a function of pornography, which trains guys to view women as performers.

Good-bye, romance. Hello, Naughty Nurses 4.

In the porn culture, sex is not an act experienced for its own sake — either for physical pleasure, or as an expression of emotional feeling — but rather is a theatrical production aimed at producing an effect on the audience. It is this performer-audience duality that makes pornographic sexuality inauthentic: Whatever is occurring in the photo or video is not occurring because of genuine sexual interest on the part of the performer, but rather because money has changed hands. This is the commodification of sexuality, which goes back to the very meaning of “pornography,” and the Greek word for “prostitute.”

Even in the case of “amateur porn” this element of commodification is present. Even without the inducement of payment, the amateur who uploads a sex video is presenting their sexuality as a commodity — a performance for an audience or, perhaps more accurately, sex as a spectator sport. The video turns sex from an act of participation into an object to be consumed.

The porn ethos now has so pervaded American society that, when Britney flashes gash for celebrity photographers (and those photos were so obviously not an accident) we must ask whether life is imitating art or art is imitating life.

[……….]
This matters. This is important. One hesitates, in the 21st century, to use the words “normal” and “sex” in the same sentence — “How dare you suggest that my pet perversion is ‘abnormal,’ you bigot!” — but having gone this far, I might as well say it: Normal sex is private.

Or, to put it another way: Private sex is normal.

What could be more intimate, more personal, than sex? However tolerant we may have become of variations (not to say, perversions) in sexuality, we have not yet reached the point in our descent down the slippery slope that we are prepared to consider public copulation or public nudity acceptable.

[………..]

Some have theorized that a constant diet of porn, especially if consumption begins at a young age, tends to impede the consumer’s ability to enjoy normal sex. The antics of Britney (and Paris, and Lindsay, et al.) suggest that they subscribe to such a theory: “Guys won’t be interested in me unless I look and behave like a porn star.” And I wonder if perhaps the inability of today’s starlets to sustain long-term relationships tells us something about the extreme difficulty women have in satisfying the sexual expectations of a generation of young men raised in a society where pornography is so pervasive? If surgically-enhanced boobs and a shaved nookie are the baseline — the minimum entry fee into the show-biz sexual playground where the likes of Kevin Federline romp — what do you do for Act II?

Update
More from Larwyn,

Here are few paragraphs – but to really understand the total insight please read the entire post and also each of the links. Great way to spend a bit of time over this bad weather weekend.

Driving Truck Bombs Through the Gaps in Leftist Logic

In our triangulated global war between Islam, the left, and classical American liberalism, it seems that we and the Islamists are fully aware of their alliance with the left. Only the clueless left are in the dark about this dynamic. Since they flatter themselves with the designation “progressive,” they literally cannot recognize their deep alliance with the most backward and regressive force on the planet, radical Islam. But the Islamists are a bit more sophisticated than the left — just as the Palestinian PR machine has always been more sophisticated than the liberal media, and has been relying upon these useful MSM jihadiots to propagandize on their behalf for 30 years.

Dr. Sanity addresses this in her post today, Systematic Subversion and the Ultimate Triumph of Freedom, in reference to Ahmadinejad’s “Letter to my American Moonbat Brothers and Sisters.” Why shouldn’t those who are sworn to the destruction of America celebrate the electoral victory of the Democrats? It’s not an insult. It just is. After all, as Vasko Kohlmayer writes (linked to Dr. Sanity’s piece), Democrats

— have tried to prevent us from listening on terrorists’ phone calls
— have sought to stop us from properly interrogating captured terrorists
— have tried to stop us from monitoring terrorists’ financial transactions
— have revealed the existence of secret national security programs
— have opposed vital components of the Patriot Act
— have sought to confer unmerited legal rights on terrorists
— have opposed profiling to identify the terrorists in our midst
— have impugned and demeaned our military
— have insinuated that the president is a war criminal
— have forced the resignation of a committed defense secretary
— have repeatedly tried to delegitimize our war effort
— want to quit the battlefield in the midst of war.

“To see just how bad things really are, ponder this question: If the terrorists were represented by a party in our political system, how would their foreign policy program substantially differ from that of the present-day Democrats? By effectively becoming a political arm of our sworn enemy, the Democratic Party has staked out a position that is unparalleled in our country’s history” (Kohlmayer).

Now, I am the last person in the world to be surprised by this alliance between modern Islamist primitives and primitive postmodern progressives. Their interests are identical, in that both believe that the West is fundamentally flawed, and both call for a destruction of the contemporary order and its replacement with a fantasized utopia.

Fausta’s comment:
Thank you Larwyn
The Britney story reminded me of something that happened years ago:

I worked in downtown Manhattan for seven years in the 1980s, and when I first started at my new job the Giuliani administration’s massive street clean-up was just getting started.

Back then there used to be a wino that kept a regular spot near Maiden Lane. I don’t care if you don’t like the word wino; he was a wino. Wino held a bottle of Thunderbird in a paper bag on one hand. On the other hand, Wino held his exposed penis out in the open for all women to see – his way of waving “Hello”, I guess. He did it rather discreetly, waiting for the appropriate moment when there weren’t any men around, at least that he could see.

While I found this character disgusting, I simply made sure to walk down the opposite sidewalk when Wino was around, and so did my women co-workers. The men, however, were offended enough that at least one of them nearly punched Wino – the woman who the wino had exposed himself to pulled that gentleman away and told him she’d call the police. If I remember correctly, this was the first time I was subjected to Wino’s doings, and they saved me the trouble of calling the cops myself.

After that, it didn’t take long for the police to start walking that particular street. Wino was arrested at least twice during rush hour (the second time a woman in a business suit – most likely a policewoman – was part of the posse), and eventually he went away, I would asume, to a friendlier neighborhood.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, who witnessed Wino’s exhibitionism felt anything other than disgust. Intense, visceral disgust.

Fast-forward twenty-some years and now we have women pervs flashing from the front pages of the tabloids, from the TV, and talked about (in a wealth of details) in talk radio.

The only difference is that now the disgust is not universal.

Here is the problem with your analogy. The wino is exposing himself in broad daylight during rush hour on a public street. That is a crime

Britney is getting out of a car at night, seen only by people who want to see her. If anything, she is the victim of nosy people

By the way, 20 years ago, people would pay money to see the nether areas of celebrities

    Here’s the vaccine for that.

    They still do.
Britney, however, is not seen only by people who want to see her. She’s all over the place.

I quite agree on the central importance of Britney Spears in saving Western Civilization, which is why I believe Congress should make it a priority to pass the Defense of Britney’s Marrige Act.
