A friend called asking if I’d heard/seen anything on line on whether Fidel Castro had died. A couple of people from The Cotillion were also asking.
Right away I checked El Nuevo Herald and Babalu, and google news. Nothing there. I called my Mom who lives in Miami. No news there either.
Not to worry. The joyful moment will come.
In the meantime, we put up with bs like the one found at the Basque News & Information channel, TRANSITION IN CUBA: US is to undermine Cuba’s planned succession from Castro.
Fidel’s Mini-me also had a momentary disappearance last year. As for those Cuban teachers Fidel’s been sending all over the place, they are leaving, too.
