If you haven’t seen it yet, you’ll probably enjoy Click, Adam Sandler’s reworking of It’s a Wonderful Life. Hasselhoff plays the nasty boss, and while Hasselhoff is no Lionel Barrymore, the audience is grateful that he isn’t.
Some reviewers thought the movie falters by stooping to sentimentality, but I thought it was funny, enjoyable, and entertaining. AS’s Mr. Deeds, a reworking of Mr. Deeds Goes to Town was nice, but I liked Click better.
Instead of Clarence we have Christopher Walken, and no angels go to heaven every time a bell rings. There’s much to be said for that.
