Two of the three self-described former terrorists were members of the PLO. Each of them apparently converted to Christianity.
History News Network says
NJ: In clear violation of free speech, Princeton University has cancelled a speaking event by three former Middle East terrorists because it says that the use of the word “terrorist” in the promotion for the event is “too inflammatory.”
Commenter Constantinople at Jihad Watch informs us that
The event WILL take place despite being shut down by Princeton U. It is Dec. 8th in Princeton NJ at the Radisson Hotel 4355 Us Highway 1, 6:00 PM.
So far the Hotel doesn’t have any knowledge of this (as of 3PM, Dec. 6), so I’ll be verifying further. The Shoebat Foundation site only states “The speakers will hold a press conference near the campus on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6:00 p.m. The location will be announced in an updated media release the morning of the press conference”.
Update The Daily Princetonian: Group cries foul after lecture postponed
Update 2 The Princeton Packet has an article (not on line) very much like the one at the Daily Princetonian (link above). The Star Ledger has Talk by ‘terrorists’ moving off campus
