With running mates like Joe, who needs opponents?
So Joe’s out loose and starts saying that whenObama’s tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power, The One’s not going to know what the hey to do but it’ll be OK because Joe’ll be right by his side, so we should vote for Obama, and we all should “gird our loins” for the fallout.
I was going to comment on this, but Jennifer Rubin beat me to it,
Well, golly, if Obama is so untested that we will have a series of international crises — at the very time we are in a financial meltdown — which will make the Cuban Missille Crisis look like a walk in the park, shouldn’t we vote for the other guy who will keep all the miscreants in their place? Now, maybe we should rest easy because, according to Biden, “I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you.” (Maybe Hezbollah’s occupation of Lebanon was one of the things he forgot.)Something tells me this is material for an ad that’s a lot more credible than Hillary Clinton’s “3 a.m.” ad. That one came from his arguably frantic opponent–this one is from his running mate.
Joe, thanks.

“Gird our loins?” So Biden is going to battle armed with Roberts Rules of Orders and Obama is going to battle with a shield made from all those highly insightful articles he wrote for the Harvard Law Review.
