McCain joins the family on the stage. “Don’t you think we made the right choice?” Deafening applause.

10:00PM: On Harry Reid, “he can’t stand up to John McCain.”

“There’s only a man in this election who’s really fought for you.”

9:53PM: “We need American energy resources, brought to you by American ingenuity, and produced by American workers.”

“This is a man who’s published two memoirs at age 46 but has not passed a law…”

“What is he planning to do after he’s finished turning back the waters and healing the world?” Ouch! Probably get a band-aid for that welt!

9:47PM: Things she got rid of: luxury jet, “I put it on eBay.”
Personal chef: “Sometimes my kids do miss her.”
Bridge to nowhere: “If our state wanted a bridge, we were going to build it ourselves.”

9:43PM: “I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.” The crowd loved it.

“We tend to like candidates who don’t talk one way in Scranton and another way in San Francisco.”
