Coming to a support group near you: Contagious loneliness

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, some researcher has come up with the notion that Loneliness can be “transmitted” from one person to another

Talking about the loneliness condition, John Cacioppo, a University of Chicago psychologist and a leading scholar of loneliness, said that loneliness is not a “property” of an individual – it can be “transmitted” even to people who may not be in a direct contact with a lonely person.

They suggest that

people should recognize loneliness and help lonely individuals

Would they be doing so at the risk of ending up lonely themselves? Or what?

If anyone could explain that one, I’ll be much obliged.

Try going to a Tea Party. You will meet people of like mind who will be glad to know you. Yu may also meet some new friends from SEIU, who will introduce you to their version of calisthenics.

Simple enough, in 3 easy steps:

    1) Take Head
    2) Bend around to Ass
    3) Insert with great force.

Cranio-Rectal Insertion Syndrome is a very, very common problem in modern society. It has been found to be strongly prevalent in self-described postmodern liberals in epidemic proportions.

Further — not only are there victims, but there are victims of its victims.

One of the most common professions which is clearly prone to CRIS is management personnel. The employees of a CRIS-afflicted manager (and, well, let’s face it, that’s almost all managers…) are the secondary victims of this awful blight on humanity.

So please — REMEMBER — when someone comes to YOUR door asking for donations for victims of CRIS, please give, and give generously…. because not only are YOU likely to be a secondary victim of CRIS, chances are, everyone you know is also a secondary victim of CRIS.

With sufficient funding, we can hope to rid humanity of this awful scourge in our lifetimes.

    :D
