Note to Spitzer: Don’t get the libertarians mad

An angry libertarian lets loose on whorechaser Eliot Spitzer (who, you may recall, was talking comeback last September) after Spitzer insulted the libertarians, and you must go read the post:
When Your Neighbor Loses His Job It’s A Recession.
Sample:
The charge is too stupid to merit a response, but Spitzer’s purple and unmanly overdescription of the Great Recession does remind us of what is most loathsome about Spitzer.
Tim Cavanaugh aims, shooots and scores; Go read it.
Did you know that Spitzer keeps his socks on? Eeeew!
And,
Uh, Eliot, I really would keep a long, long way from the word “fiduciary.”
UPDATE
I wasn’t the only one smelling “comeback”; Chris Good thinks Spitzer’s aiming to run for state comptroller.
Curious choice, when you think of it.

Will no one rid me of this troublesome lawyer?
Dear lord, your time is up Eliot. No one likes you.

I used “troublesome”, because he doesn’t rise to the level of significance of “turbulent”.
Also, I misremembered the quote initially.

My biggest issue with Spitzer’s downfall has always been the money laundering, which was swept out of sight, pretty much. Not so bad, we are told. And yet we don’t know whose money it was.
It wasn’t the first time he was caught hiding money sources- he was caught doing it in his first bid for AG.
Getting caught with a prostitute- I felt sorry for his wife, his children and the people who had trusted him.

Save,
The money laundering questions appear to have vanished, so now he wants to be comptroller. Let’s hope no one else goes along with that.

I can just picture Spitzer telling his pollsters that some of his problems were just a bump in the road. Then the first question of the poll asks, “What do you think of Eliot Spitzer’s hump in the road? Word associating will not be his friend.
