Compassion for the Lockerbie bomber
Years ago I was told about a man who misled a woman to believe he was terminally ill in order to seduce her. The Scots, however, offer themselves up knowingly:
Scotland frees terminally ill Lockerbie bomber
Scotland’s government freed the terminally ill Lockerbie bomber on compassionate grounds Thursday, allowing him to die at home in Libya despite American protests that mercy should not be shown to the man responsible for the deaths of 270 people.Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill said Abdel Baset al-Megrahi’s condition had deteriorated from prostate cancer. Al-Megrahi had only served some eight years of a life sentence, but MacAskill said he was bound by Scottish values to release him.
Rather than let the bastard rot in jail,
“Our belief dictates that justice be served but mercy be shown,” MacAskill said, ruling that al-Megrahi “be released on compassionate grounds and be allowed to return to Libya to die.”
More compassion than Al-Megrahi ever showed anyone.
Story also at the WaPo and the WSJ which has a slideshow.

Compassion? Compassion was not taking the bastard up to 30,000 feet and pushing him out.
August 20th, 2009 at 11:14 am
The islamist view displays of “compassion” as weakness. The “can’t we just get along” groups seem to think if we treat them with kindness they will in turn respect us. We would be better off if the Scotts had taken the bastard to the public square chopped him up and fed him to the hogs.
August 20th, 2009 at 2:55 pm
Public acts and displays of “compassion” are pure vanity and the self-congratulation of Pharisees.
August 20th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
I hope someone at least throws a shoe at this creep–maybe while he’s boarding the plane to Libya.
August 20th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
i can’t find the link, so this is still anecdotal, but there was a demonstration by the Lockerbie citizens and some fairly nasty epithets were used against one of the judges and al-Meghari. But they were just the residents Lockerbie and relatives of those killed on the ground they obviously don’t understand compassion and oil contracts.
August 21st, 2009 at 10:11 am
wake-up you (nth americans) are angry. This does not negate the feeling of (most) the europeans that there was a massive miscarriage of justice with regards to this situation. Be happy that you’ll get some oil out of this….otherwise tou gotta give the money to CHAVEZ.
August 21st, 2009 at 10:13 am
anger makes you look like an idiot….I think America may never learn this???
August 21st, 2009 at 10:36 am
[...] Scots showed him compassion, the Libyans gave him a hero’s [...]
August 21st, 2009 at 6:28 pm
Boxer, is that really you? Where’s the link to the bombers, dude. We may be angry but we don’t wear tin foil hats like some I could name. Plus it will be the UK that benefits from new Libyan contracts and I would also like to see where this new claim that most Europeans think al-Mehari’s trial was a miscarriage. Considering how many Scots have demonstrated against his release I’m wondering if somehow Scotland is no longer considered part of Europe?
August 21st, 2009 at 8:35 pm
Yeah It’s me mate! Am waiting on reply from S.B.S TV and The Bulletin Magazine re planes over South America and you should brace yourself.
Now for your new challenge re the Scots that think there was a miscarriage of justice…I just gotta turn my TV on for that but I’ll get ya some info on that it’s current!!
August 21st, 2009 at 10:26 pm
Boxer! We both know that all this is simply make believe on your part. Why not use the SBS search engine to find any reference to your story? Plus waiting for a response for The Bulletin Magazine might be very frustrating as it was closed in Jan of 2008. Any other evasions?
August 21st, 2009 at 10:31 pm
I had tickets for this flight and got lucky and missed it, but I’ve done years of research on the bombing and can guarantee you all that he is innocent. If you pr**ks would do your own third party research you wouldn’t be saying you want to take him to 30,000 feet and push him out. Read more in depth about this, it was a retaliation bombing for the US Navy shooting down Iran Air flight 665. The Iranians payed Syrians to execute the attack. Admit it, you didn’t even know about flight 665. So shut the f**k up you ignorant f**ks.
August 22nd, 2009 at 4:47 pm
Wow, that was really thought provoking and in all honesty caused me to rethink my position for all of 1 or 2 seconds.
August 22nd, 2009 at 11:34 pm
Sorry I come off like that but its very aggravating to see people don’t know background to these events All I want you to do is look at what happened with no preconceptions and really go over and analysis what you find. Please bookmark this site and read it if you have time. The site title is not the most uplifting, but i guess neither was me having to call all my sobbing family to tell them I missed my flight and was still alive. http://killinghope.org/bblum6/panam.htm
August 23rd, 2009 at 1:13 am
You’re a lucky guy. But taking the word of a man that had already published the names of CIA covert agents, his fellow Americans, and then got involved with the Soviet and Castro supported Phillip Agee strains credibility too much to take anything Mr Blum writes as anything more than reflexive anti-Americanism.
August 23rd, 2009 at 1:27 am
Plus isn’t this all rather moot considering that Libya admitted to the cupability of its officers in the bombing? In writing and several times by its consular officials.

August 23rd, 2009 at 3:43 pm
Do you still want the link Pat or has Chris sorted this out for you? Let me tell you something about Gadaffi. He was a very angry young man, from a “world” of hurt & anger (he was an idiot)-his 1986 line of death taught him a big lesson. He then decided to read a lot, he admits he never understands a book the 1st time he reads it and must therefor read each book several times (this is important from a medical point of view as it displays a symptom of trauma/depression or something!!…I am not his doctor). However this only shows anger makes you an idiot but if a member of my family was on that flight would I now be behaving like an angry idiot….?????
Btw the confessions were just a lie/game to get back into the international community as Libya was suffering economically! f’n money hey!!!
August 23rd, 2009 at 4:20 pm
He was 44 in 1986 and you argue that he was just an “idiot?” In all this conspiracy talk there is just one problem, how come no one has talked that knew the “truth?” Out of the hundreds or possibly thousands of people involved how come not one person has come forward to tell what really happened?
As to the links to the claim of nuclear armed planes I sense that I might as well be Waiting for Godot. You’ve had enough time to actually write an article about this claim but as of yet have not produced on scrap of information other than an old wives tale.
August 23rd, 2009 at 5:51 pm
Oh shit mate I missed the tin foil hats remark, little man please do you rely on trying to keep others down to get it up? Let it go you’re a lovely individual and you can be what ever you want to be in this life. Just please don’t choose to be an arse hole (but that is you choice). The doco I watched on the nukes over Sth America was over 10yrs ago but it includes interviews with the pilots and crew and I have a memory like a steel trap (stainless steel) be patient and less insulting and we’ll get there. JUST BRACE YA SELF.
August 23rd, 2009 at 5:53 pm
answer to entry #18 OIL
August 23rd, 2009 at 6:10 pm
and history has proven the wast majority of “old wives tales”" to be true. so please do go on!!!
August 23rd, 2009 at 6:12 pm
wast = vast??
August 23rd, 2009 at 7:39 pm
shit I really don’t listen to you Pat do I? (but I have a life).
yeah I know ACP stopped printing The Bulletin in 08 hence my request for 10 years of back orders 1995-2005 taking so long, but ACP (Australian Consolidated Press) is still running a lot of my countries media and is charging me a lot for these back issues?? f’n capitalists. As to the S.B.S search engine they don’t do doco’s unless “Marcom” has em….they are a govt organization….do you now believe govt organizations to be efficient cause it suits you to say so???? We’ll get there mate.
If I were evading you I would not have got back on this site, I just work hard lad!
August 23rd, 2009 at 8:06 pm
the fact you see conspiracy everywhere is the conspiracy every where is the conspiracy mate….i’m bored and waiting!!!
August 23rd, 2009 at 8:08 pm
you want my e-mail??
August 23rd, 2009 at 8:09 pm
so not evading you….bring it on lad!!
August 23rd, 2009 at 10:46 pm
What conspiracy are you on about now? Bring what on? I asked for some links and a month later nothing. Except excuses!
August 24th, 2009 at 12:43 am
bring it on = I’m prepared to give you my e-mail so you can follow me up that is all. Can’t believe it’s been a month really!
Anyhoo, this was just one TINY detail of the cold war and one the U.S. tries to hide as they deny any involvement in “operation condor”. Just be patient and I just shot off an e-mail to the CPA (The Communist Party of Australia M/L) they may have a record/pamphlet. However I can never be goaded into action esp by some impatient $%%# that can’t tell the difference between and excuse and a reason. I’m very keen to find this for you.
Oh and about the “conspiracy” YOU mentioned in entry #18, there simply is none. al-Megrahi was told to fall on his sword so Libya could reopen dialogue with the West it’s just that simple, no conspiracy!
August 24th, 2009 at 12:52 am
Hey mate honestly my jaw hit the ground when I saw/read this it is scary shit. You are welcome to take as much rope as you want over this issue, but you are hanging yourself.
and this has nothing to do with Libya….you want my e-mail??
August 24th, 2009 at 6:29 am
Simply referring back to another unsourced opinion you made concerning Libya. “Btw the confessions were just a lie/game to get back into the international community as Libya was suffering economically!” Asking for a link is “scary shit?” What a sad little world you must inhabit.
August 27th, 2009 at 7:04 am
it is all unsourced lad, this whole thing is based on my memory, but take some rope lad!! my memory is recalling something from 10yrs ago, but just like the strangest logic of your clumsiest lines, it stays emblazoned on my mind!!
August 27th, 2009 at 7:11 am
btw I’ve never created a “link” in my life and I’m in no hurry to do so!! Might I ask how many hours you spend at a computer each day??
August 27th, 2009 at 7:12 am
It’s not that I wouldn’t be prepared to create a “link”, I ve just never done so???
August 27th, 2009 at 7:20 am
I’m going to be your biggest argument against govt subsidy. Up until now no private enterprise (with out HUGE government subsidy) could or would deliver this type of service to the Aussie bush. But I am here NOW!!
btw I LIKE YOU!!
f’n private enterprise is shit mate, you have no idea what you’ve been missing out on????
August 27th, 2009 at 7:24 am
TAKE SOME ROPE….PLEASE!!
August 27th, 2009 at 10:14 am
Ok, I must admit in the span of twenty minutes you have either made no sense or contradicted yourself. Perhaps you should slow down and proof your comments before dementedly pressing Submit Comment. Plus using all caps is tantamount to sending a letter to the newspapers written in crayon.
August 27th, 2009 at 11:25 am
No! when you’re BORN TO HANG. The noose well… eventually it fits. You are simply not a thinker, but you are fun. I know it’s all a bit cryptic but I told you to be patient, you are not, so it is poetry for now!!
It strikes me you own the crayons mate!
Plus I like upper case.
August 27th, 2009 at 11:31 am
Still you do not answer, How many hours/days/weeks/months…etc do you spend on computers/here???
August 27th, 2009 at 12:00 pm
btw I do not have any answers re the four constantly equidistant bombers that carried nukes over “South” America during Operation Condor for you “YET”. This does not negate the fact it happened!! It also means I have not yet proved that it did. If you’d like to get into semantics you will start from the wrong foot but we will end up at the same point. But mate “You are born to hang”
However just a couple more questions for you atm. (1) Are you from the U.S. (N.B. not in upper case/crayon…out of intended disrespect)? (2) Are you 14 years old or just impatient?
August 27th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
Memory simply is not good enough as you could claim that Santa Claus exists because you remember being told so when a child. Proof matters if not from one source then from another. Try other sources. Plus the new claim of “…equidistant bombers,” doesn’t make much sense because at the height of the Cold War the bulk of the SAC was on the ground but ready for 15-minute flight. Those flights that did occur were flown in giant individual figure eights. So logically one would have to ask why the US would waste assets flying over militarily weak countries while it kept its nuclear fleet in readiness on the ground in case the Soviets attacked?
August 27th, 2009 at 7:21 pm
Hey finally we agree on something, relying on just my memory is not good enough, that is for sure….well it is for me and my mates that also remember this docco, however you are not one of those mates. You are obviously well versed in the world of computers and capable of intelligent thought so why you can’t be patient or find find this yourself is beyond me???
However it struck me last night that I could contact the Cuban consulate in Sydney and see if they have any knowledge of this situation. I’m sure they would like a friendly call (I’m sure they get a lot of unfriendly ones)…..we will see what comes of this.
But be patient!!
Soviet attack has nothing to do with it. It was about the peaceful transition to socialism (with a view to communism)through the ballot box that would deliver A CONTINENT from poverty and deny the u.s. access to labour and materials?? N.B. the Soviets are not attacking Venezuela, Bolivia etc at the moment yet this process still unfolds??
August 27th, 2009 at 10:19 pm
Interesting I contacted a very nice and helpful guy at SBS who told me that they were unable to help in that search because they only kept records by title and airing date. That raises the question of what exactly are you waiting for?
And yet the economy of Venezuela is contracting while that of Bolivia is stagnant. The three countries that are growing all are basically free market capitalists; Brazil, Peru(in fact Peru had the largest growth rate of any country in the world last year) and Chile. When exactly is socialism or communism supposed to actually work?
August 30th, 2009 at 5:58 am
Funny i am told their records don’t go back as far as I want (alas this is true) I’ve contacted Sydney and Melbourne. So if you can find the key to the list of programs shown on S.B.S. from 1999 till now please give it to me or even just the name of the chap you spoke to would be enough. However the system does work as you suggest but like I have told you from the start it was about ten years ago I saw this doco.
Now mate to socialism (grins) (1) Peru is growing but it is a humanitarian nightmare, it is still behaving like rubber baron territory (esp in the east/forest)and to suggest it will not turn left at the next election is totally blinkered. (2) Brazil is doing very well but it is finally center left. The right have really stuffed that place up over the last 40yrs or so (and you know that) and Lula has done some good, but not enough. (3)Bolivia will be saved if the half moon states comply (and they have) and lets face it the world want’s lithium for car batteries (and I suspect you need it personally). For Bolivia stagnant is much better than where it has ever been. (4) You and I can take up an argument over Venezuela another time (or anytime, but I will go on and on and on..etc) and this would be a GRAND pleasure for me. N.B. (5) Chile…who gives a shit!! sorry Chile love you, but FTA with usa is crap. Plus you have socialists when you are not having socialism…go figure!!
August 30th, 2009 at 6:58 am
NOW: PAT PETTERSON, PAT PETTERSON, PAT PETTERSON.
When exactly is socialism or communism supposed to actually work?
Might I 1st reconstruct this sentence for you (for technical reasons…I’m not being a smart-arse, it is just difficult to answer with a Marxist analysis in it’s present form).
(1) The “when exactly” part is irrelevant as socialist revolution is about timing, so when the time/conditions is/are right is the answer (the current oligarchy exposed in Germany meets a good part of the conditional requirements)! A Social Democrat-Christian Democrat Alliance??? It might be worth your noting that Die Linke are now the 3rd party in Germany!! Or should I say Die Linke are the 2nd party as SD-CD finally admit to being 1 (an oligarchy exposed!!) unprincipled right wing oligarchy.
Timing is why Chavez knew to go to gaol (jail) in “94″. His actions were worth a try but the timing turned out to be wrong. The Russians tried in 1904 but 1917 was better!! (or was it)?? Yes it was….so why did this not work?…later!!
Now to the term “actually work” or “work” as you should have wrote. It might be worth your time to scroll back a bit through our chats and realize I have asked you the following question before. “Have you ever read any Marx”? I will now assume the answer is, NO!
It is clear you do not understand that Marx (and Engles) was (were) writing in 1st Germany then France then England. Now it is worth noting that these are all industrialized economies and therefore Marx was writing about “What to do with an industrialized economy”. This has great relevance to Russia and 1904 v 1917 and why 1917 failed. Russia at the time of the 1917 revolution had very limited industrialization and was turning to Germany for there machinery (this is true). Now the Germany Communist Party was very popular at the time and and was headed by a Comrade named Rosa Luxumberg. She and several top party officials were murdered by the social democrats in 1919 and hence the USSR was not able to industrialize as Germany was not able to join the USSR (although several states still did and were punished for it) and things went wrong from there.
However it might be worth your while to note Lenins’ response to the lack of industrialization (and your country won’t tell you this) was to introduce capitalism to the USSR. This was under a policy introduced in 1921 called the New Economic Policy or The N.E.P. It is one of the sadest moments in history that Stalin could not understand this necessity and went….well “crazy” i guess.
So in closing and to reconstruct your sentence.
When will socialism (with a view to communism)work???
mate stay tuned!! I feel our chats are not over.
August 30th, 2009 at 7:17 am
Ok I’ll let you in on something that is obvious to all true socialists. China is just going through an N.E.P. (as prescribed by Lenin) and socialism will work once China is industrialized and probably bigger than the usa. Deng Xaoi Ping was hated and exiled by (the Stalinist) Mao for wanting and understanding this economic principal.
I’ll just go on and on!! So just ask if you want any more Marxist educationals, you’ll see we’re actually winning!!
August 30th, 2009 at 8:49 am
I can note that the lack of understanding on how the world works is still almost solely within the ownership of the left. BTW Die Linke is the fourth largest party at 8.7% behind the CDU, the SPD and the FDP. And draws more than 90% of its votes from the former GDR and there are four other parties within 1% of Die Linke which appears to resemble the Democratic Party in the US after the Civil War backward and regional.
But the overriding fact remains that you made some wild claims and as of yet have not provided one scrap of information other than excuses. A fable like the one you are convinced you heard is not something of a one off. If it exists it can be verified. So simply put up or slink back to Marx for Dummies.
August 30th, 2009 at 9:24 am
current opinion poles put die linke 3rd mate and CDU SPD is just an oligarchy and always has been….wake-up. The next election is very soon in Germany, it will be interesting and Die Linkes’ vote is spread quite evenly over the former West/East divide. 90% from former east?? prove this!!
and yes I have not proved the claims about the planes over South America, I do do other things than sit at my computer and but I will prove my claims. I have since we last spoke chatted with a nice man at the Cuban Consulate (on Friday it is Monday tomorrow) and he was very keen to help and was surprised I knew of this u.s. action!! Till then mate. Told you you just needed to be patient!!
August 30th, 2009 at 8:06 pm
No actually current polls show the FDP in third and a variety of leftist parties behind them. If the trend continues the SPD will lose enough seats that they will not even be able to mount a coalition against the CDU/CSU and the FDP. In the West Die Linke is forever tainted by Oskar LaFontaine and their position as succesors to the SED and before that to the Honnecker dictatorship. And as the economy improves the left will decline even further along with its natural constituency in the unions which have suffered a 10% drop in membership in the last decade.
August 30th, 2009 at 8:07 pm
Is that the same Cuba that lied about its infant mortality rate for forty years and its GDP? Yep, that should be a hoot.
August 30th, 2009 at 11:16 pm
Ooooh, getting bit catty aren’t we. BTW do you know of any other Cuba?
My call to the consulate has caused me to delve into the “very murky” world of Project X. You Americans have a lot to answer for. These planes are apparently more to do with Project X than Operation Condor……look it up if you dare!! (not the planes but Project X in general)
The U.S. has no desire for democracy.
Cuba’s infant mortality is one of the lowest in developing nations…as to GDP, they are for the larger part a happy people so don’t care about that myself. Lets have America introduce a GNH index (Gross National Happiness) like to see the results there.
Of cause the social democrats will not win Germany as Die Linke has so much of their vote the, whole nation over. As V.I. Lenin said “never form coalitions with social democrats”. This is where the SDP-CDU (and the CDUs traditional allies that you count as separate parties) are exposed as an oligarchy. If the CDU and its traditional allies win outright that will be because of support for Die Linke….like I said this is going to be interesting!
Anyway even if Cuba does fib here and there (which I don’t see)it is nothing compared to what I am learning about the u.s. and Project X, Operation Camelot, The Cold War Manuals etc. Oh and what is now Americas undeniable involvement in Operation Condor. The U.S. is so very EVIL!!
and I have you to thank for opening my eyes so very wide!!
August 31st, 2009 at 8:05 am
Boxer, Cuba has the highest suicide rate in the hemisphere. How’s that for really happy?
August 31st, 2009 at 8:24 am
but hey this is getting a bit too long-winded. So I’ll let it be till I get more specifics; perhaps even the precise doco for you (S.B.S. ain’t what I anticipated, the CPA hasn’t got back to me, I’m just a lonely hollow man…nah it’s spring here I got a lot of lambs to kill).
just to let you know, I choose “boxer” as a caution…read George Orwells’ “Animal Farm” a short novel…an easy read!! and you might get it.
Until I have all the facts “Viva Revolution”. I got other shit to do….not avoiding you!!
with all my revolutionary heart BOXER.
August 31st, 2009 at 8:35 am
Of cause it was a month I went missing for last time cause I was sheering for spring (this makes the lambs fatter as they try and protect themselves from the cold by getting fat, hence we charge you for fat?? a capitalist trick exposed!!) Anyhoo back when they are on ya plate…I’ll get mobile soon.
BOXER
August 31st, 2009 at 9:13 am
O.K. you’ve hooked me!
I do have to go in next few days (and I gotta check on the old lady down the road n shit before I leave). But can I give you an assignment before I go? This 10% drop in unionism in Germany that you mention (I thought and hoped it was greater than that). Why do you thing this is disadvantageous to socialism? I think you are a bit confused as to what is a Social Democrat? and, What is a Socialist?
I’m wondering if you could tell me, Who, What, Where and When, caused V.I. Lenin to (in outrage) exclaim “What kind of capitalist economy is this, that allows the worker a guaranteed pay packet and a guaranteed working week” (n.b. this is not verbatim). This was in 1901 and caused him to consider “Why have a revolution”?
His response in 1904 is interesting and complex. IT however caused him to continue on a revolutionary path….WHY?
August 31st, 2009 at 3:06 pm
If it is not a quote then why is it in quotes? As to the unions the guts of the Communists in Germany after World War II was in the large unions. If they suffer a drop in membership it isn’t because of a demand for a more radical program but rather the worker making a rational choice and deciding that his goals and the unions goals are two different things.
Could you at least get the quotes right? Where there an article or pamphlet that mentions his question of “…why have a revolution.” Which response in 1904? Are you referring to One Step Forward, Two Steps Back?
BTW, how did you manage to make a lamb invisible?
September 2nd, 2009 at 9:23 am
i used quotation marks because it’s f’n close babe….f’n close and I’m a bit loose n wild!! (verbatim shmatim)? and it’s not in “quotes” but rather , “quotation marks” if you wanna get annal. Yes the unions’ were the “guts” of the commies after WW II, however I’m talking of Rosa Luxumberg and (1919) post and pre WW I. Like I predicted again you do not know of this (please scroll for my prediction).
And it’s your job to answer the question re 1904. At no point have I suggested 1904 had anything to do with Germany/unionism.
Invisible lambs is your conspiracy, but less work for me?
unions suck shit…I’ll give you an example that happened to me today…. So I was stringing up a lamb for a member of the teachers union and F*^% did she go on about some old guy that she gotta represent and his current language issues that has caused the said conflict…he mumbles a bit!! This current situation of attack by the bosses on this individual is causing other individuals to come to her for advice on how they can protect themselves from similar attack for their age/lack of skill or just cause the have union styled wages….whatever the case, it is stress full to her. Yet very few of these individuals are in unions!! It would seem to me both you and I get what we want here. However it would seem I’m closer to the reality and can do something about it!!!!
However I told her..and you’d like this…I said “A social democrat would have a union drive” or “A socialist would listen to me”
and what do you mean by invisible lambs?? I don’t understand!! I do enjoy abstract thinking but this is odd!?!?
September 2nd, 2009 at 11:28 am
Because shearing is spelled with an “a” not sheering. Plus anal is not spelled annal. What happened to your comrade at the Cuban embassy? He to has heard the story but also cannot provide one citation to that old wive’s tale is my guess! Using quotes and quotation marks are acceptable according the The Style Manual and being close does not mean you can use those marks because that simply means not close but actual.
I’m not sure you really understand how to question some one else if it consists of “close” citations and obscurity. Simply put its been over a month and inspite of the verbiage you still have not put forward one single fact concerning US behaviour in regards to South America. How about less incoherent reponses here and more dilgence in tracking down your original claim?
September 4th, 2009 at 5:42 am
My bad spelling is just red wine (or rather red whine, they go hand in hand with me)! I could take the time to point out where your spelling has been wrong too, but I am not so petty, as I have always understood what you have meant!! As I’m sure you have I. It might interest you to know that English is a living language and can do what the fuck it wants, as you and I will too.
I have put forward many “startling” claims regarding South America, just none that you like, and not the one I first mentioned (I’d never heard of Project X, but it is real….fuck me)!!
From The Cuban Consulate (I don’t think we have an embassy here), to the CPA and all people I have contacted, I have had no worthwhile responses. Perhaps I don’t try enough or they simply have bigger fish to fry. I’m stoked that you don’t!!
I told you heaps back that I’d rather wait till I had more facts before we continued our chat. However you continue to goad me.
Today this suits me as AID has been cut to Honduras and babe you will soon see socialism work. From here a lot of truths will arise, and I hope even the one about the planes over South America???
If not just be patient.
