Dresser Magcobar (drilling fluids company) used to import hematite (the low grade Brazilian iron ore) into Lake Charles, LA for grinding and use in drilling fluids for drilling for oil/gas.  The ships used were generally Brazilian owned (Liberian flag) with Brazilian crews.  Shipments were usually around 10,000 tons.]]></description>
