Reporting from @BlogHer12: Romney’s missed opportunity

4,000 women bloggers are meeting in NY City from today until Saturday at BlogHer12, and Pres. Barack Obama adressed the standing-room-only crowd in the Hilton’s largest ballroom at 4:40PM today via live feed, as he had dome in 2004.

Where is Romney?

I talked to the Romney campaign and they said that Romney couldn’t make it because he’s in Colorado today.

Imagine this: 4,000 bloggers, all of voting age, most of them activists, and the Romney campaign does not get him to spend five minutes (which was the length of Obama’s speech) with them?

Maddening.

More maddening yet: the rumor is that “Romney couldn’t be bothered to answer”.

Big PR fail, on this one.
