   GAWD I love Terfel’s top notes, they’re so delicate and gorgeous coming out of that giant.

   These are two such different performances, they can’t justly be compared. Both charming in their way. I’d love to see Jackman do it in concert and Terfel do it on stage. I call a tie!

   Neither, hands down to Gordon MacRae in the film version. Bryn Terfel looks like he could eat a horse but likely not ride one while Hugh Jackman can ride but is still lacking the maturity to play the getting on in years Curly.

   Hugh Jackman wins my vote. Why? Because he makes his voice fit the character and puts his whole being into performing the song. Wow!

   I’ll take Bryn over Hugh Jackman or Gordon MacRae…much more pleasant to my ears. I like both Hugh and Gordon, but not as much as I like Bryn! ..Bryn is quite a versatile singer…sings mainly classical and opera, but can sing music theater and pop beautifully!

   Wow!

   Hands down, Terfel! Jackman and MacRae are both excellent actors and that’s most pleasing but who can possibly choose any voice over Terfel! I mean, come on.
